On November 23rd, the National Independent College Development Research Center was officially unveiled and established at the National Forum on Standardization and Transition Development of Independent Colleges, co-sponsored by China Private Education Association and Yangzhou University.
The "National Independent College Development Research Center" is a think tank and professional academic organization specializing in independent college issues with the approval of the relevant functional departments of the Ministry of Education and with the support of the Jiangsu Education Department.
Last year, the Jiangsu Private Education Research Center was established at YZU. It has carried out in-depth research on the construction of independent colleges and the development of private education. It has formed its own characteristics regarding the policy and development of private education, the management and evaluation of private schools, and has achieved fruitful results. This Forum gathers all kinds of intellectual resources, and manages a thorough discussion on the standardization and transformation of independent colleges. It will certainly play an active role in promoting the development of Independent Colleges in China.
