7 Disciplines Selected into 3rd Stage of Project Funded by the Priority Academic Program Development of Jiangsu Higher Education Institutions

Jiangsu Provincial People's Government published the list of disciplines which won funding in the third stage of Project Funded by the Priority Academic Program Development of Jiangsu Higher Education Institutions. 7 disciplines of YZU namely Veterinary Medicine, Crop Science, Chemistry, Animal Husbandry, Chinese Language and Literature, Marxism, Water Conservancy Engineering were selected, ranking 4th among universities in Jiangsu Province in terms of selected numbers.

The success is not only a full affirmation of the subject construction in our university, but also further optimizes the dominant discipline structure, creating more favorable conditions for the next stage of higher level discipline construction. YZU will take it as an opportunity to further consolidate the dominate disciplines, strengthen the connotation development, and strive to provide strong support for the construction of a domestic first-class, internationally renowned and distinctive high-level research university.
